The stone fruits contain many phytosterols (mainly ß-sitosterol) and free fatty acids such as oleic acid, palmitic acid, lauric acid and myristic acid.
The natural extract is anti-inflammatory and protects the skin barrier, which makes it suitable for care products against dry or itchy skin.
