KBM Kollagen und Biomaterialien für Medizinprodukte GmbH:
New company and new website online now!

We are pleased to announce that the brand new website of KBM Kollagen und Biomaterialien für Medizinprodukte GmbH is now online!

Our history in brief
From the beginnings to an innovative driving force

Since GfN was founded in 1983, our scientists have dedicated themselves to the development and production of first-class natural extracts. Our early specialization in collagens laid the foundation for our current company KBM, Kollagen und Biomaterialien für Medizinprodukte GmbH, many years ago. With our revolutionary product UniColl®, we are advancing our mission to promote natural beauty and health through high-quality ingredients. Under the leadership of Michèle Lindner, we have continuously expanded our expertise in innovative production and today supply our collagens and biomaterials to research institutes, medical device manufacturers and leading cosmetic brands worldwide.

We use synergies to make high-quality, native collagens available for research and development and the medical device industry. Since our foundation on January 21, 2021, we have successfully completed the production of medical collagen (UniColl®). Since then, we have been developing, producing and supplying natural biomaterials for the development of medical devices and medical applications and for biomedical research.

UniColl® is a type I medical collagen produced from bovine hides according to ISO 22442. With its native triple helix structure and self-assembling ability, it is ideal for medical and research applications. Produced under the strictest conditions, UniColl® is the first choice for the development and production of medical devices and biomedical science.

UniColl® is a soluble molecular collagen with intact native triple helix and N- and C-terminal telopeptides. A special endotoxin inactivation method guarantees endotoxin-free collagen (< 0.5 EU/mg). It has natural biological activity such as fibril formation, cell-matrix interactions and biocompatibility. Due to its quality, it is particularly suitable for medical devices and biomedical research.
